🛠 How the Process Works
Step 1: Diagnostics & Removal
Book directly with one of our approved DPF centres for full diagnostics, removal, and refitting. Alternatively, your own trusted mechanic can handle the removal and send the filter to us.
Step 2: Booking Confirmation
Once your DPF centre confirms the booking, they’ll notify us. We also ask that you contact Top DPF Cleaning directly to schedule the clean—this ensures nothing is missed.
Step 3: Backpressure Testing
Before cleaning begins, we measure the filter’s backpressure to assess airflow restriction and blockage severity.
Step 4: Endoscopic Inspection
We inspect the filter internally and externally using endoscope tools to check for cracks, heat damage, or structural wear.
Step 5: On-Site Cleaning
Our team carries out the full industrial clean at the approved DPF centre using advanced equipment—no need to send the filter away.
Step 6: Drying Cycle
A high-volume airflow process is used to reduce internal moisture, preparing the filter for safe refitting.
Step 7: Final Inspection
We check the filter’s cleanliness and structural integrity to ensure it meets our performance standards.
Step 8: Post-Refit Drive & ECU Reset
Once the DPF is reinstalled, the centre will carry out a short drive to evaporate any remaining moisture. They’ll then reset the ECU using diagnostic tools to confirm the system recognises a clean or new filter.
Step 9: 12-Month Warranty
Every clean is backed by a full 12-month warranty for peace of mind and reliable performance.

⚠️ Important Notes
Top DPF Cleaning operates independently from our approved centres. While we’ve selected these garages based on their proven technical ability and customer service, they are not part of our company and manage their own bookings and pricing.
We provide a 12-month warranty on the DPF clean itself. If your filter blocks up again within that period, we’ll re-clean it free of charge. However, it’s the customer’s responsibility to arrange and cover the cost of removal and reinstallation.
For warranty cleans, we kindly ask that you bring the DPF to our Chippenham facility.
Payments are handled separately:
